What Should I Bring to Purchase from a Bitstop?

Your first visit to a Bitstop will require you to bring some items with you to register.

Cash Only

Our machines allow you to purchase Bitcoin with cash, so please bring some with you. 

Mobile Device

Registering at a Bitstop requires you to have a mobile device that you can receive text messages at. You phone number will be used in order to authenticate and manage your account.

Bitcoin Wallet

A bitcoin wallet is required in order to receive the bitcoin your purchase from the Bistop. We recommend HODL Wallet. You can learn more about Bitcoin Wallets here.

Valid I.D.

In order to qualify for the maximum purchase amount you’ll need to register with a government issued ID. This is only required for your initial registration visit.
