A Bitstop Teller is a trained person at a participating check casher or money service business who helps you buy Bitcoin and crypto with cash, step by step, in person. It's built for anyone new to crypto, making a larger purchase, or who simply prefers working with a person rather than a self-service machine.
There are two ways to buy. You can stage the purchase in the Bitstop app first: sign in, find a Teller location by filtering the map for 'Teller,' choose the crypto and amount, confirm your wallet address, then finish with the teller on arrival. Or you can walk in with no app: the teller registers your account on the spot in a few minutes, you choose what to buy and pay cash, and the crypto is sent directly to your wallet.
Tellers support the same cryptocurrencies as Bitstop ATMs, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, USDT, Dogecoin, XRP, Solana, and Litecoin, though available coins can vary by location. ID requirements depend on the purchase amount, and fees are always shown before the purchase is confirmed. Most transactions take a few minutes; first-time walk-ins should expect about 5 to 10 minutes including registration.
Find a Teller location at bitstop.co/locations or in the Bitstop app. Need help? Support is available 24/7 at (855) 524-8786 or support@bitstop.co.
