Not all assets are available at every location. Bitcoin and Ethereum are available at virtually all Bitstop ATMs. Stablecoins, altcoins, and gold-backed tokens are available at select kiosks. Use the location finder and filter by asset to find one near you.
How is the exchange rate determined?
Rates are pulled in real time from multiple exchanges and shown on-screen before you complete any transaction. The displayed price is all-in. No hidden fees added after.
Can I sell cryptocurrency at a Bitstop ATM?
Bitstop ATMs are currently buy-only. You insert cash and receive crypto. Crypto-to-cash transactions are not supported.
What's the difference between USDC and USDT?
Both are dollar-pegged stablecoins, but issued by different companies. USDC is issued by Circle and publishes regular third-party attestations of its reserves. USDT (Tether) is the most widely traded stablecoin by volume with deep liquidity across multiple blockchains. Both maintain a 1:1 peg to the U.S. dollar.
