After completing your transaction, Bitstop broadcasts it to the Bitcoin network immediately. In most cases, the transaction appears in your wallet within a few minutes as a 'pending' or 'unconfirmed' transaction. Full confirmation (1 block) typically takes 10–30 minutes depending on network congestion.
Your wallet app may show the transaction as 'pending' or 'unconfirmed' before it fully confirms. This is normal — the funds are on their way. Some wallets require multiple confirmations before showing the balance as spendable. If your wallet doesn't show a pending transaction within 30 minutes, double-check that you scanned the correct receive address.
During periods of high network activity, Bitcoin transactions can occasionally take longer — sometimes a few hours for full confirmation. This is a characteristic of the Bitcoin network itself, not a Bitstop issue. The receipt you receive (printed and via text) contains the transaction ID (TXID), which you can use to track the status at any Bitcoin blockchain explorer like mempool.space.
If more than 2 hours have passed and you don't see the transaction in your wallet or on the blockchain, contact Bitstop support at (855) 524-8786 or support@bitstop.co. Have your printed receipt or the transaction ID from your text message ready — this is the fastest way to resolve any transaction issues.
