Why Was My Transaction Paused?

What it means when a Bitstop transaction is paused for review, and what to do next.

Sometimes a Bitstop transaction is placed on a brief hold for review before the crypto is sent. This is a routine safety step designed to protect customers from fraud and scams. It does not mean anything is wrong with your account.

When a transaction is held, the Bitstop app shows you your options for that transaction. You can choose to complete the purchase and send the crypto, or cancel it and get a refund. If you are unsure, you can contact Bitstop support and we can help you review it.

If someone you don't know pressured you into buying crypto and sending it to them, do not complete the transaction. Choose the refund option in the app and contact Bitstop support right away. This is a common scam pattern, and acting quickly gives the best chance of protecting your money.

For help with a paused transaction, contact Bitstop support 24/7 at (855) 524-8786 or support@bitstop.co. Have your receipt or transaction ID ready.
